Brenda Talavera

Duties: collects all money for the Swim Team and shall deposit it in the name of the Swim Team, in a bank approved by the Board; is responsible for executing all authorized Swim Team disbursement; provides reports on the Swim Team finances at each Board meeting; prepares a budget and issues an end-of-season financial statement to the members of the Board of Directors

Duties: is responsible for orders and sales of team memorabilia and equipment; keeps a current inventory of all items; is responsible for disbursement of Swim Team t-shirts; maintains records of sales; is in charge of merchandise sales at home swim meets

Duties: coordinates with meet directors from other teams regarding expectations and implementation of meets; handles issues and discrepancies that might arise regarding rain-outs, by-laws, scoring, etc.; is knowledgeable of NWSC (Northwest Swim Circuit) by-laws; is knowledgeable of all volunteer positions and their duties; oversees that all swim meets (both away and home) run smoothly; arrives at set up time and stay until all issues are taken care of at meets


Ashley Padgett and Toshua Williams
Volunteer Coordinator

Duties: seeks volunteer positions from parents; organizes and assign volunteer positions for Piranhas at home and away meets; coordinates with visiting teams in regards to what volunteers are needed; ensures that volunteers have equipment needed (clipboard, markers, timers, etc)

Duties: maintains swimming records; seeds the meets; creates heat sheets prior to each meet, prepares pit parent papers for each meet, runs individual swimmer cards; organizes swimmer cards prior to each meet; provides cards and pit parent papers to volunteer coordinator; enter times at meets and posts results, keeps families abreast of PPST information and news via e-mail
